Once in a while, the internet yields some really weird but hilarious arguments.
This is one of them and it apparently happened on May 25, 2020 at a HDB Flat in Singapore.
The owner of the unit discovered a mysterious stranger with a mullet loitering around his flats. So he took his smartphone and began asking a series of questions.
The result: A weird but hilarious argument in Singlish.
Facebook user Alan Chew had uploaded two videos to the SG Covidiots Facebook group. It’s essentially a group that uploads photos and videos of people breaking the Circuit Breaker (CB) measures on the island state.
The videos were then edited into one and uploaded onto All Singapore Stuff Facebook page.
In the close to 2-minute long video, the stranger, who lives a level below, had claimed that he was smoking by the stairs when he had the sudden urge to pee.
It’s unclear if the individual was caught prior to being recorded because in his argument, he accused the owner of the unit of videoing him without his permission.
When accused of dirtying the premise, the stranger said that he had “throw” water to clean up the area.
Many people who viewed the video said that what the man did was not at all cool since he should have, by right, be indoors. In short, he broke the law.
Others, however, were a little more sympathetic and felt that the owner of the unit should not have shamed the man through video.
